First Look at God Wars 2 Character Artworks and Story Details

After the announcement of God Wars 2 a few days ago, Kadokawa Games reveals first looks of the characters and details of the story.

God Wars 2 set in the country where the world is gradually shifting from the Gods to the humans in the time of the founding of the Yamato Nation.

Director Yoshimi Yasuda mentioned that the tactical battles, graphics, and character designs in God Wars 2 will be better improved from the first game.

God Wars 2 revealed the first two characters from the game. First was Nakata Takemi (VA: Shou Karino) who is the son of Okunisuhi and the other was Orochi (VA: Moa Tsukino), the heir of Yamato no Orochi’s spirit.

Both release date and the platforms have yet to be announced.


DC’s Upcoming New Live Action Show ‘Titans’ Gets First Trailer

The first day of San Diego Comic-Con 2018 is about to commence, and to kick it off, the first trailer for the upcoming DC series ‘Titans‘ has been released. The show is scheduled to debut this Fall via WB’s new service, that will give you access to their comics, their selection of shows, and more. This service costs $7.99 per month, or an annual subscription of $74.99.

In addition to that, Warner Bros has two other series that will be receiving the live action treatment. Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing are planned for a 2019 air date. On the animation side, Young Justice will be returning next year for a third season.

Gravity Rush 2 Online Servers Is No More

As of today at 10pm PT, Gravity Rush 2 Online Services are closed down. Fans can no longer hunt treasures, share photos, or challenge other players’ ghosts online.

It shocked fans when Sony announced they will be shutting down Gravity Rush 2 Online Service on January 28, almost a year after it was released. However, due to the fans’ persistent hashtag #DontForgetGravityRush on Twitter and Reddit, Sony listened and postponed the shutdown until today, July 18.

Square Enix Reveals (And Confirms) New Figures For Their BRING ARTS Line

Square Enix announced the new lineup of figures for their BRING ARTS line on their official merchandise Twitter during the San Diego Comic-Con 2018 Preview Night. The new lineup includes Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy series, The World Ends With You -Final Remix-, NieR:Automata, and Dragon Quest IX: Echoes of an Elusive Age.

Besides the new and prototype BRING ARTS on display at the Square Enix’s SDCC 2018 booth, previously announced BRINGS ARTS figures are also being shown to the attendees.

San Diego Comic-Con Preview Night is only open for press, industry professionals and Preview Night badge holders. The convention won’t be open until Thursday, July 19 to July 22.

Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season Gets New Teaser Trailer And Screenshots

Prior to the the commence date of San Diego Comic-Con 2018, Telltale Games has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

On July 19th at 8:00AM PT/11:00AM ET, the developer will post gameplay footage of the demo over on their official Youtube page.

The first episode is set to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on August 14th. The Switch version will follow later in the year.





CyberConnect2’s Trilogy of Vengeance Games Set For 2019 Release Worldwide

CyberConnect 2 has shared a new update on the Trilogy of Vengeance titles. This list of games includes Fugue on the Battlefield, Tokyo Ogre Gate and Cecile.

The first title Fugue on the Battlefield will launch in Summer 2019. then Tokyo Ogre Gate will follow three months later, and lastly, Cecile to release three months after that.



Valkyria Chronicles 4 Opening Movie Set the Stage for Squad E

Sega uploaded the opening movie for Valkyria Chronicles 4 on YouTube. The opening movie highlights the adventures of Claude Wallace, Riley Miller, Lina Schulen, Raz, and Ragnarok in Squad E.

Unfortunately, the opening movie is missing the original Japanese theme song.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 has launched in Japan on March 21 to the PlayStation 4 and September 27 to the Nintendo Switch. The game will be coming to North America and Europe on September 25 to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version will release worldwide on September 25.

Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link To Be Localized in 5 More Languages

Although Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link has not been confirmed for a release outside of Japan, Cygames confirmed to Gematsu that the game will also be localized in English, French, Spanish, German, and Italian. The publisher mentioned that they do not have anything to announce for other regions yet.

Earlier this week, we learned that the game was pushed out of 2018 release due to the scope of the game becoming larger than originally visioned. More news is set to arrive this December at Granblue Fes.

Arika Shares Teaser Video for Fighting EX Layer New Characters Vulcano Rosso and Pullum Purna

Akira has published a new teaser video for two new characters ‘Vulcano Rosso’ and ‘Pullum Purna’, who are coming to Fighting Ex Layer.

Fighting Ex Layer can be purchased now on the PlayStation 4. A release date for the two characters will be announced at EVO 2018, which takes place on August 3rd and concludes on August 5th.

Square Enix’s SaGa: Scarlet Grace Gets New Trailer

Square Enix has shared a new trailer for SaGa: Scarlet Grace ahead of the August 2nd release in Japan for new platforms. This version for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices comes packaged with many new content.

An English release was confirmed by series creator Akitoshi Kawazu, but does not have a release date yet.
