Monster Hunter: World Total Shipment & Digital Sales Top 10 Million Worldwide

Total shipments and digital sales for Monster Hunter: World has exceeded ten million worldwide, Capcom has announced today. As of August 20th, the series has topped 50 million units.

The game launched on January 26th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It later arrived on PC on August 9th. Monster Hunter: World is the best selling title in the series, and also sits as the number one top selling Capcom title.

Final Fantasy XIV Comes to Monster Hunter: World Today

Today, Monster Hunter: World is welcoming Final Fantasy XIV and adds MMO mechanics in the collaboration event via the August Title Update.

The collaboration event also adds the Behemoth from Final Fantasy XIV, and it can prove to be difficult to battle against. Capcom community manager Yuri Araujo written helpful hints and strategies to take on the Behemoth in Monster Hunter: World in the PlayStation Blog.

The Behemoth hunt will be available today, August 1st at 5PM PT / 8PM ET / 12AM GMT in Monster Hunter: World.

Monster Hunter: World Total Shipments And Digital Sales Surpass 8.3 Million Worldwide

Monster Hunter: World has surpassed a total shipment and digital sales of 8.3 million units worldwide, Capcom has revealed today.

The game is available now to purchase on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PC version is due out on August 9th.

Monster Hunter: World Coming to Final Fantasy XIV on August 7th

Square Enix announced Monster Hunter: World will be making its mark in Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood on August 7th, as part of the Patch 4.36 Update. This is part of the collaboration between Square Enix and Capcom.

Final Fantasy XIV fans can take on Rathalos, the “King of the Skies” from Monster Hunter World in the “The Great Hunt” trial in both normal and extreme versions. Eight players can team up against Rathalos in the normal version. However, in the extreme version, only 4 players can take on the beast with “numerous unique mechanics”.

Players are rewarded for completing the collaboration contents:

  • New armor set inspired by Rathalos
  • New minions, Poogie and Palico
  • New Mount, Rathalos
  • New Furnishing, BBQ Spit

Producer and director Naoki Yoshida teased new contents that are coming in Patch 4.4 during the recent Letter from the Producer LIVE:

Capcom is bringing Behemoth to Monster Hunter: World in a free title update on August 1st.

Monster Hunter: World x Final Fantasy XIV Collab Release Date Set; Behemoth Update Trailer

Capcom and Square Enix has announced that the Monster Hunter World x Final Fantasy XIV collboration will begin at August 1st at 5pm PT/August 2nd at 1am BST.

The update will bring monsters from the Final Fantasy series into the world of Monster Hunter, where you can accept new quests and begin the hunt. Players can obtain weapons and armour from this event.

Monster Hunter: World Coming to PC; More Details to be Reveal on July 9

Monster Hunter’s official Twitter teased a PC version for Monster Hunter: World. Details, such as the release date, distribution platform, and minimum specs, will be reveal on July 9th at 9am PT/12p ET/5pm BST.

Monster Hunter: World is already available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide, although, it’s only on PlayStation 4 in Japan.

Monster Hunter: World x Final Fantasy XIV Collaboration Brings Behemoth In August Update

Monster Hunter: World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto appeared on the 100th episode of MonHun Radio, and confirmed the Behemoth from Final Fantasy XIV will arrive in Monster Hunter: World, as part of the collaboration between the two titles, in a free title update in August.

Final Fantasy XIV‘s Behemoth will be the fourth monster coming to Monster Hunter: World post-launch.

Also, the Behemoth will appear as part of a hunt in a free “Monster Hunter: World Hunting Thanksgiving 2018″ event at Makuhari Messe in Japan. The event will take place on July 15.

There is still no date for Monster Hunter: World‘s Rathalos to arrive in Final Fantasy XIV. Rathalos is still slated for this summer.

The Monster Hunter: World x Final Fantasy XIV collaboration was first revealed during the Square Enix Showcase at E3 2018.

FFXIV Behemoth Coming to Monster Hunter: World in Free Title Update Summer 2018

As part of the collaboration between Monster Hunter: World and Final Fantasy XIV, Final Fantasy XIV will come to Monster Hunter: World in the Free Title Update 4 this summer 2018.

E3 2018 – Final Fantasy XIV Online x Monster Hunter: World Collaboration Announced

At Square Enix E3 Showcase, Final Fantasy XIV announced its collaboration with Capcom’s Monster Hunter: World.

The trailer revealing crossover content that is coming to Final Fantasy XIV Online, featuring the Rathalos, the King of the Skies, from Monster Hunter: World.

More information for Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter: World collaboration will be revealed at the Letter from the Producer LIVE stream with FFXIV producer and director Naoki Yoshida and MHW producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. The stream is scheduled on June 12 at 11am PDT.

Monster Hunter: World content for Final Fantasy XIV Online is slated for Summer 2018.
