Capcom Announced Mega Man Live Action Film

Hollywood will be adapting Mega Man into a live action feature film, Capcom announced today.

Tentatively titled MEGA MAN, the film will be written and directed by the directorial team, Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman (Paranormal Activity 3 & 4, Nerve), and Chernin Entertainment and Masi Oka (Heroes) will be producing it. 20th Century Fox will be distributing the film.

Based on the influential and globally beloved Mega Man franchise, Capcom aims to appeal to a diverse audience, including not only game players but action movie fans as well, with an adaptation that maintains the world of the Mega Man games, while incorporating the grand production and entertainment value that Hollywood movies are known for.

No release date has been announced for the Mega Man live action film.

Mega Man 11 Demo Dropping on September 4th

According to the Xbox Store, Mega Man 11 will be receiving a demo for the everyone to download and play on September 4th.

The demo will allow players to traverse through the Block Man stage, fight enemies, and use the new Double Gear system, that has the ability to slow down time or boost the power of your shots to bring the boss down.

Mega Man 11 will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on October 2nd.

#SDCC2018 – Mega Man: Fully Charged Cartoon Shows First Trailer

At San Diego Comic Con, Mega Man: Fully Charged panel reveals the first trailer for their cartoon. The cartoon is premiering on Cartoon Network on August 5th, and 10 episodes will also be available on Cartoon Network app on August 3rd.

Coming August 3rd to the Cartoon Network App (August 5th TV broadcast starting every Sunday at 6:30 a.m. ET/PT), Mega Man: Fully Charged stars Aki Light, a normal, upbeat, schoolboy robot with nano-core technology that allows him to transform into the mega-powered hero Mega Man! With his Mega Buster arm cannon and iconic helmet, Mega Man battles the wickedest villains Silicon City has to offer. Beloved characters, such as Mega Man’s robotic dog, Rush, will return – while new characters, like Mega Mini™ and Suna Light, will make their debut!

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2 – ‘X Challenge Trailer’ Released!

Capcom has shared a new trailer today that gives us a look at a new mode, where it challengers players by allowing them to fight two bosses at once and choose a loadout. You can switch between three different difficulties, and also see the results on the online leaderboard system.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 will include the X1-X4 games and collection 2 will consist of the X5-X8 titles.  The Legacy collections are coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in North America and Europe on July 24th, and two days later in Japan.
