Square Enix has released new details and screenshots for The World Ends With You Final Remix this week. The Nintendo Switch version will add new music by composer Takeharu Ishimoto, and a bonus scenario that has never been told in previous releases.
While details are still scarce, new Reapers and Noises are confirmed to be appearing in the extra story chapter.
If you intend on playing on hand-held mode, the game will feature the same touch screen controls as the Nintendo DS and mobile versions. On table or docked mode, players can access co-op and strike where they want by pointing with the joy-con.
Takeharu Ishimoto will be returning to compose new arrangements and tracks for the game. Players will have the ability on the game menu to shift between either the original tracks or newly arranged background music.
Everything in the game has been recreated in HD resolution from the characters, to the backgrounds, and more.

The World Ends With You Final Remix is set to launch on Nintendo Switch on September 27th, and in North America and Europe sometime this Fall.
