Final Fantasy VII Remake Director Says Development is Progressing Further Along Than Expected

In the latest issue of weekly Famitsu magazine, Tetsuya Nomura said the development of Final Fantasy VII Remake is progressing smoothly, and the project is moving along further than originally expected after moving work from external to in-house development.

In terms of when we can expect more news on the remake, he said they are currently trying to decide on when they can next present the information and asks fans to please wait with confidence. Nomura, then, made a brief mention in regarding in diving deeper into the scenario for Avalanche, the characters, and the atmosphere.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch first on PlayStation 4.
